Vidal Candies is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing companies in Europe. That is what the London Stock Exchange Group confirms in its pioneering report that includes European companies with the greatest projection: ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Europe 2018’.
This report lists those SMEs that have increased their average turnover by 24% in the last three years (2014, 2015 and 2016) reaching figures between 20 and 300 million euros. In addition to this, the publication highlights those companies that are creating a large number of jobs with an average recruitment growth of 37% in two years.
Amongst the 1000 firms that are compiled in this report, 75 of which are Spanish, form a select group, in which you will find Vidal Candies. The evolution of its turnover, from 110 million euros in 2014 to 135 in 2017, besides the increase of its average number of staff, averaging of 1,000 employees, are some of the reasons that brought Vidal Candies to the attention of this British publication. The growth of the company comes as a result of product innovation and new investments such as the construction and the launching of a new operations centre in Cieza. Furthermore, is essential to mention the opening of two new international commercial platforms, South Korea, Australia-New Zealand, which gives the company a total of 14 platforms and a commercial presence in over 90 countries. It is also worth noting the recent ambitious marketing campaign: “Show your Dipper side!” (Saca tu lado dipper). The last TV spot presents the most sought chewy caramel by the youngest and not so young members of the family, Dipper.
